A Sea of Grey & Green

Gruffers Studio is excited to finally announce our upcoming game: A Sea of Grey & Green. This has been (to some extent) in the works for over a year now. The game will be coming… late 2025! We are super excited to share this news with you and can’t wait for you to get hands on!

There will be three opportunities for you to play the game before launch (for free). We will be participating in several upcoming Steam Next Fests! This will allow you to see the game as its being developed and participate in the process.

But what is A Sea of Grey & Green?

Play a person on what could become their last day alive, as they obsess over their daily routine that is slowly breaking them down. A Sea of Grey & Green emphasises character and mood over gameplay. Step into Cas’s shoes for a day, let’s find out if you can live to see another.

This 1^st person exploration game is dark, strange and sadistic. Deride over your kingdom of grey & green. Try to drag yourself through to the evening in this “day-in-the-life simulator”. Unfortunately for you, this person’s life is… complicated to say the least. Good luck.

The Search

I’m searching for a word. One that lies at the heart of A Sea of Grey & Green. The first person to message me with this word will be receiving a custom 1 of 1 Gruffers Studio Blot plushie and a copy for the game on release. A runner up will also receive a copy of the game on release. Your first clue lies within the promotional image provided. Best of luck to all participating.
